Gypsy brewing since: December 2018
Those who attended the Festival of the Giraffes back in September might remember a little side venue, where a group of local homebrewers were showcasing their home made concoction and sharing their experience with the process. Since then, the brewers from Tomești Hill joined the Gypsy Program at Ground Zero, and have made their launch at the Gypsy Brewers Day party at Hangar Gastropub.
Following their debut, Tomești Hill have released two more beers (a stout and a red ale), although their Crazy Pilot pale ale continued to be their ‘flagship’ beer. In 2020, they also started prospecting other breweries for making it, with a batch made at Plan Beer in July, and another one at One Beer Later in September.
Brewed at Ground Zero:
- Crazy Pilot – Pale Ale – 6.2% ABV
- Should’ve Been Red – Red Ale – 5.8% ABV
- The Black Suit – Dry Stout – 6.2% ABV
Brewed at Plan Beer:
- Crazy Pilot – Pale Ale – 5.8% ABV
Brewed at One Beer Later:
- Crazy Pilot – Pale Ale – 5.6% ABV
