Beerologique is the Romanian Craft Beer Database. We keep track of all the comings and goings on the Romanian craft beer scene, from the well established breweries, to those still busying themselves with gypsy brewing as they await opening their own place. All breweries featured on this website are small (a yearly output that does not exceed 5000 hectoliters – with one exception) and independent (no shares owned by macro investors). We also keep an eye on some of the independent brewpubs, as well as independent cider makers in Romania.

This website is meant to be a resource for local and international users interested to know which breweries in Romania are operating, curious about industry news, or just looking for where you can grab a beer or two.
You can also follow us on Facebook for regular updates and event announcements, or on Instagram for the occasional beer reviews.

The Romanian craft beer scene is still in its infancy, and although new breweries open every year, the market share of local craft beer is still below 0.5%. Here’s hoping it will pick up in the years to come.
