GENERAL INFORMATION:

Officially brewing and selling since December 2017, Carol Beer emerged unto the Romanian market with a vision of celebrating beer as it was brewed in the olden, glory days. Bearing the name of Romania’s monarch Carol I, and the lion as its sigil, the brewery aims, almost 100 years after the Union of Transylvania with Romania, to revive the brewing tradition that the country used to have, as well as its craftsmanship.

Boasting an impressive output for a new addition to the industry, of up to 5000 hectolitres per year, Carol Beer can legitimately be counted among the largest independent breweries in the country. With a steadily growing range, available in both keg and bottle predominantly in and around Bucharest, you can find a full list of their available locations on their map.
