General Information:

The first artisan brewery in Oradea also happened to be a brewpub. They opened in 2018, after 18 months of awaiting paperwork and renovating the place. Tom Beer focuses on traditional, German style beers that are true to Reinheitsgebot, and following recipes concocted by their original brewer, Markus Steinkamp. Alongside their beers, they also serve traditional German dishes, often with a beery twist, and which are best enjoyed on their terrace.

In 2020, they opened a second brewery and terrace in the city of Zalău, brewing the same recipes and providing the same kind of services. At the same time, they also started bottling their beers, and selling them in several locations around the country.

However, on November 10th 2020, the original location (the brewpub) in Oradea closed down. Currently, Tom Beer only produces beer in the city of Zalău.
