Location: Oradea, Bihor county / Zalău, Sălaj county
First location open since: October 2018
Second location open since: June 2020
Brewer: George Vătăman

General Information:

The first artisan brewery in Oradea also happens to be a brewpub. They opened in 2018, after 18 months of awaiting paperwork and renovating the place. Tom Beer focuses on traditional, German style beers that are true to Reinheitsgebot, and following recipes concocted by their original brewer, Markus Steinkamp. Alongside their beers, they also serve traditional German dishes, often with a beery twist, and which are best enjoyed on their terrace.

In 2020, they opened a second brewery and terrace in the city of Zalău, brewing the same recipes and providing the same kind of services. 2020 was a busy year for them, seeing their beers bottled and sold in several locations around the country. Although mostly found in Zalău, you can also pick up their bottled beers online from Berero Store, and make sure to enjoy them within the first 30 days of being bottled.
